I just thought I would post this on here, though it isnt stricly RA, but related.

Some of you may remember that our daughter has had 7 long years of miscarriages, unexplained until a referral to Rheumatology showed strongly positive ANA antibodies, though no Lupus symptoms (fingers crossed). Apparently this can be down to a shared gene with RA:-(

She was put on 3 months of 25mg prednisolone and has been injecting anti-clotting drugs Heparin (then Clexane) all through her pregnancy in the hope it would make a difference..

Really happy and relieved to be able to say that they are now proud parents of a little boy, born Monday night a week overdue, 8llb3oz. Some difficulties in labour and after, but home now.

Just wanted to say never give up hope, we didnt think this would ever happen for them and it's just wonderful, miracles do happen.

Take care everyone, especially those TTC. You are in my thoughts.

Sat here in tears
How wonderful

Grandma liz annamaria

Delighted simply delighted

Whenever I feel miserable or that things are dire and miracles don't happen I just have to take a single look at Bernice
Then I smile
Remember my prayers
And smile again

A gift of miracles

Bernice means 'bringer of victory' we liked that!

So delighted for your dear daughter
And son in law
Having been through so much torture
And now blessed with a new life

A son!

Wow

Lovely lovely
